Is it right for you?
NTT places more weight than pre-primary training on care routines, health, hygiene, nutrition and child protection, alongside early learning theory. It suits learners who want to work with babies and toddlers or in day-care as well as nursery classes.
How it relates to pre-primary teacher training
Pre-primary teacher training covers teaching children aged about 2 to 6 in nursery, LKG and UKG. Many learners combine it with nursery teacher training or choose between them. Compare all courses.
Facts from APTTI's Nursery Teacher Training (NTT) page, checked 10 October 2026. APTTI courses are professional training, not degrees or NCTE-recognised qualifications.
