APTTI's online pre-primary teacher training course is studied through a learning portal with 24/7 access, unlimited downloads and tutor support. You choose a level (6, 10, 12 or 18 months), study about 5 hours a week, complete assignments online and receive a certificate that, according to APTTI, does not mention the mode of study.

Online or distance?
APTTI describes the course as online and distance learning. If your internet is patchy, download the modules when you have a connection and study offline. The content, fees and certificate are the same either way.
What you need
- A smartphone, tablet or computer
- Internet access to log in and submit work
- About 5 hours a week (6 to 7 for the Integrated PG Diploma)
- Access to young children for practice, ideally in a pre-school setting
Support while you study
Student coordinators answer by email or chat Monday to Saturday, 10 am to 5 pm (IST); you can book a call with senior academic staff, and tutors reply to urgent WhatsApp messages. APTTI also runs 4 to 5 live webinars. Tutor support and webinars.
Time zones
Because materials are available around the clock, you can study in IST, Gulf time, East or West Africa time or South-East Asia time without waiting for a class. If live webinars are offered, admissions will share the schedule.
